Each April, coinciding with Earth week, the NWC Optimists take a group of kids over to Plum Point (Kowasese) Park off 9W for a service project. We clean-up the shoreline and park areas and have a picnic.  Kids from our sponsored sports teams and families are invited too.
The group picks up trash that is littering the Hudson River Shoreline and Park areas.
